Driving a Semi Truck can be challenging. Especially these days, with the lack of clarity from so many sources. It seems nobody lies, while at the same time everybody lies. Not to mention the dishonesty from the trucking industry and brokers, as well as the chaotic regulations from the U.S. Government. What is up with the answers we are givin' that do not pertain to the questions we ask? All we hear is "Calm Down, We Got This".
The bottom line is this. Without us, shippers, producers, and manufacturers are NOTHING! Without us, receivers, retailers, and customers are NOTHING!
There is no reason for you and me to mislead, confuse, be mad at, or be divisive toward one another. EVER! We are the backbone of the entire nation. Trucking is the world's largest industry! We need to stand up and start acting like adults. We love truckin', right? Why make it less enjoyable by ignoring each other and not helping one another?
Today is the day! Let's do this!
Truckers' Final Mile is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to reuniting North American truck drivers and their families during times of crisis. Founded in 2014 by 40-year trucking veteran Robert Palm, the organization steps in when a driver faces a tragedy away from home and the employer is not legally required or willing to assist.
